I have this carburetor on one of my bikes- works great and it’s pretty simple to work with.

Cheers to that.
There is are a lot of conflicting opinions on the Edelbrock carbs for all of the XR models. I personally haven’t had the chance to run one yet, but would like to just to say I have.
i have one of the newer style edelbrock carbs on my 2000 650r and the boot that covers the linkage is seeping gas. What would cause this and where could i get the parts to fix it?
I have this carburetor on one of my 2000 XR650R.
– easy start
– faster response power on the wheel
I ran this carb from Sacramento to the border, the Baja 1000 and then on to Cabo San Lucas without a single problem starting is so simple. I would recommend it, but can’t really say it makes any more power, or if it does it’s not appreciable.
