Here are a couple wiring diagrams that are useful in your conversion.

This is a stock United States wiring diagram for the Honda XR650R.

And here is a diagram of a fully dual sported bike with using an upgraded 200w stator. Keep in mind that running an upgraded stator is NOT necessary for a basic conversion. Personally I have the Baja Designs dual sport kit on my bike, running with the stock stator, and it works quite well.

This diagram should be used as a guide. It was put together by someone on the ADV forums but I can’t remember exactly who. I’ll happily give credit if you know!
